As the newcomer to the team, Luke exemplifies the standard of quality DaVinci strives for across all of its seasoned staff. He recently graduated from the University of Vermont with a GPA of 3.7, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Communication and a minor in Music Technology. His studies at UVM were rooted in the application of research, theory, technical knowledge, and sound design principles.
Luke is a veritable jack-of-all-trades multimedia specialist, having already excelled in his professional experience as a DaVinci Direct Intern in 2021 and 2022, working on digital copy, design and video. As an undergraduate, he studied documentary filmmaking, as well as strategic writing and design.
At Duxbury High School, Luke was a member of the National Honor Society and helped form a program called DUX Humanity in Action. In 2018, the program paired with the International Institute of New England (IINE), an organization that welcomes refugees and immigrants and provides them with education and pathways to careers and citizenship. Luke presented with DHS student leaders and IINE speakers who discussed their experiences as refugees and immigrants who relied on IINE services to assimilate and succeed. Luke was also a 4-year member of the DHS Varsity Tennis Team, and a percussionist in the DHS Symphonic Band.
